Gregory Robbins

Combining a unique background of formal conservatory training and digital media entrepreneurship, American bassist and conductor Gregory Robbins is the quintessential 21st Century artist. A strong advocate for music education, Robbins has made guest conducting appearances at New York University, SUNY Purchase, and was on the 2015 conducting faculty of the New York State Summer School of the Arts. He is currently conducts the Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic, and is in his second season as Associate Conductor of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony. As a bassist, his performing career has led to appearances at some of the world’s grandest concert venues, sharing the stage with artists ranging from Michael Tilson Thomas to Dave Brubeck. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
