On Monday, August 4, we are thrilled to welcome back ATLYS, the sensational all-female string quartet and GMF fan favorite! Known for curating innovative programs that include unique covers of pop and rock hits, original compositions, and classics, these masterful musicians bring a dynamic and modern sound you won’t want to miss.

ATLYS has charmed audiences around the world, gracing the stages of Red Rocks and The Stone Pony and streaming over 25 million times worldwide. Now, they’re coming to Geneva with an unexpected repertoire of beloved melodies that span genres and cultures. The highly anticipated event will take place at the picturesque Billsboro Winery, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening of music.

Meet the Artists: 

Jinty McTavish (violin) has spent her entire lifetime dedicated to moving the hearts and minds of people all over the world through her music. Through her experiences as concertmaster of the Artemis Chamber Orchestra, and performing as a soloist/chamber musician, Jinty has gained a reputation of pure excellence and carved out a career through her ability to make classical music enchanting, exciting, and relevant to an entirely new generation of listeners. 

Sabrina Tabby (violin) discovered a passion for music-making at a young age playing violin with her twin sister. In high school, the two were featured on National Public Radio’s “From the Top” radio series and television show at Carnegie Hall. Sabrina has performed across four continents, as concertmaster and soloist, in chamber groups, as well as in various baroque and new music ensembles. Sabrina actively travels to perform music of all styles and has also been a proud member of the violin section of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra’s since 2018, She was recently appointed as the new concertmaster of the Mankato Symphony Orchestra.

Genevieve Tabby (cello) began playing after being inspired by her sister, Sabrina’s, violin lessons. Her dazzling playing has won her a place on top concert halls around the country, including Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, Harris Concert Hall in Aspen, and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. Currently, Genevieve teaches a private studio, freelances, and records cello tracks for albums, commercials, tv and film, recently featured on the major Hollywood motion picture, ‘Heart of Champions, released in 2021, and multi-award winning documentary ‘Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche,’ released in 2022.

Dr. Susan Bengtson Price (viola) is an accomplished violist and dynamic performer known for her versatility across solo, chamber, and orchestral genres. Highlights from this past season include performing as guest soloist with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, collaborations with the ATLYS String Quartet, performing and recording an album with Jimmy Farace’s jazz octet, and playing in the chamber orchestra Camerata Chicago. Committed to mentoring the next generation of performers, Susan teaches beginning through college level violists. This summer she is on faculty at Birch Creek Symphony Academy, Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Summer Chamber Academy and the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Camp. She holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music (B.M.),  Northwestern University (M.M.), and Boston University (D.M.A.).
