Rave Review for Our Final Concert on NY State Music

The 2025 Geneva Music Festival concluded just 48 hours ago, but we’re still feeling all the excitement from the season. And now, thanks to a glowing feature from NY State Music, our excitement continues!

The final show featured Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, one of the biggest acts in bluegrass today. And the performance more than lived up to the hype! It was one of two sold-out shows this season, with a third coming just three seats shy of selling out. This season’s growth is a testament to the growing energy and enthusiasm around the festival.

In its review, NY State Music praised the concert for its “incredibly fluid and clean playing.” A crowd of music lovers gathered under a high-peaked festival canopy at Geneva on the Lake eager to hear “one of the hottest stars on the scene today.”

“From there, the band ran through a healthy mix of grass-ified pop and rock tunes, bluegrass canon, fiery instrumentals, and their own originals,” the review continues, a perfect summary of the evening’s high-energy program.

“’For Your Love,’ another original, included a truly inspired solo by Cleveland that built slowly to an incredible peak, which must have cut straight through to the heavens as the skies open up into heavy rainfall right on cue.”
