The Geneva Music Festival is a professional chamber music festival held annually in June. Internationally acclaimed artists perform in venues throughout the Finger Lakes, including in Geneva, Canandaigua, Auburn and Skaneateles.

Founded in 2011 by violinist Geoffrey Herd, the GMF strives to entertain, inspire and nurture a lifelong appreciation of classical music throughout the community. Therefore, its mission is to promote the fine arts by bringing innovative world class performances to the region, engage a wide range of audiences and provide opportunities for enrichment to people of all ages. Additionally, one of the Festival’s highest priorities is to educate children and inspire a lifelong love of music. To that end, GMF offers several performances each year free of charge at local public schools. In addition, admission to all concerts is free to students 18 years and under.
