Dear Friends,
Thank you for joining us for our ten-year anniversary celebratory season. It was a joy and honor to perform for all of you in person this summer. Our season was not only a celebration of the successes of our festival over the last decade, but of the slow return to normalcy and social connection. Moreover, our festival highlights the efforts by so many to make great music accessible to any and all.
Personally, I’ll remember the performances of this summer for years to come. Each concert left a unique and memorable impression, from the soulful and beautiful voice of Grammy Award-Winning baritone, Dashon Burton, to the rhythmic verve of JP Jofre’s compositions. I’m grateful to all of our GMF musicians for joining us year after year and sharing their artistry with us.
The growth and development of the festival over the last decade is remarkable and is a testament to the commitment and support of our community. As always, I feel lucky to be a member of this community and to have the opportunity to perform in Geneva each summer. I hope the festival was the perfect beginning to the summer for all of our patrons and supporters.
