Geneva Music Festival on Performance Today

Tune in to Performance Today on Tuesday, September 5th and Wednesday, September 6th on WXXI (Rochester 91.5FM) or WCNY (Syracuse 91.3FM)

Performance Today will be featuring a performance from the Geneva Music Festival on Tuesday and Wednesday’s broadcast.

The program on Tuesday, September 5th, in its first hour, will include JP Jofre’s Hard Tango, performed by Geoffrey Herd, violin; Ken Meyer, guitar; Esther Park, piano; Greg Robbins, bass; and JP Jofre, bandoneon. This performance was recorded at the Smith Opera House during the 2021 Geneva Music Festival.

The program on Wednesday, September 6th, in its first hour, will include Astor Piazzolla’s Adios Nonino, performed by Geoffrey Herd, violin; Ken Meyer, guitar; Esther Park, piano; Greg Robbins, bass; and JP Jofre, bandoneon. This performance was also recorded at the Smith Opera House during the 2021 Geneva Music Festival.
