Mother’s Day is May 14, just a little more than a week away! Instead of (or in addition to) the traditional flowers, treat the special women in your life to music performed by artists fresh from stages and concert halls around the world. When the Geneva Music Festival (GMF) returns for its seventh year this summer, acclaimed artists will present their interpretations of a wide range of musical genres, including chamber, classical, organ masterpieces, bluegrass, and a two-concert celebration of jazz. The GMF will take place from June 1 through 18, with concerts in Geneva, Auburn, Canandaigua and Skaneateles.
You can treat someone to one concert in the series, six, or to the whole season. Tickets for adult admission to each concert and an after-concert reception are $25 (ages 18 and under are free). Six-concert passes and season tickets only are available until the first concert, in Geneva, on June 1, and may be purchased online prior to or in person at that concert. All venues are wheelchair accessible and air conditioned.
She’ll never forget the gift of music!
