Volunteers Needed

Volunteers helping with a recent brochure mailing.

The Geneva Music Festival is made possible by a board of directors and many wonderful volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers to help before, during and after the concert series. There are also openings for board- and committee-level involvement. If you enjoy teamwork and would like to help with festival planning and organizational tasks, please join us. No musical experience necessary!  We work together in groups and have fun while we bring this fantastic festival to the area.

Before the festival begins, volunteers help with mailings and correspondence, run local errands, distribute materials such as brochures, rack cards and posters, and take part in activities related to preparing for the arrival of the artists. During the festival, we need volunteers to help artists with travel logistics such as transportation to and from the airport as well as lodging and meals. Of course, we couldn’t produce so many wonderful concerts without a stage crew and people to help with tickets, programs and post-concert receptions. There are even activities that can be carried out in the comfort of your own home.

As a special thank you, volunteers who help during a concert get free admission to that concert. Those who donate meals receive one free ticket to the jazz concert at The Smith Center for the Arts, June 8.

If you would like to be part of this dynamic volunteer group that is essential to bringing diverse sounds to the Finger Lakes this summer, please let us know by filling out the online form. You can also call 315-521-1623 or email director@genevamusicfestival.com.
